The Libertad National High School (LINHS) was formerly named Libertad Barangay High School. It is located at Libertad, Surallah, South Cotabato. Founded in 1969, and was nationalized on June 24, 1984 by virtue of Batas Pambansa 584 sponsored by the then Cong. Jose T. Sison. The land area is more or less 4 hectares, earmarked as government property by virtue of Municipal Resolution No. 41 s. 1977. It has today a 108 plantilla itemized position for faculty and staff with its Colongulo National High School Campus. LINHS Main has 2,265 students with 46 sections. LINHS caters to General Secondary Curriculum with specialized subjects in Technology and livelihood Education. With internet connectivity. 95% secured with concrete perimeter fence. At present, under the leadership of its energetic principal Mrs. Florencia I. Carmen, together with the strong support of the faculty and staff, parents, students, LGU, and other sectoral representatives, LINHS is on the forefront of working hard for gaining more in terms of institutional performance.
